The Compact Object CALculator code

COCAL means a "seagull" in the Triestine dialect of Italian.
The COCAL code is a GRMHD initial value code whose objective is to solve for any compact object or binary system. Some of the possible examples are binary black holes/neutron stars/quark stars (BHBH, NSNS, QSQS) or mixed binaries (BHNS), postmerger hypermassive neutron/quark stars (RNS,RQS) or black hole toroidal systems, with electromagnetic (EM) fields using different mathematical formulations.
